Beim letzten Testlauf ist mir aufgefallen, dass das Spannrad am Ende des Laufwerks unstimmig aussieht. Nach einem Abgleich mit Bildern und Zeichnungen war klar: der Abstand von der Wannenbohrung zur Radachse ist viel zu klein, bei maximaler Spannung schleift die Kette fast an der Wanne. Da der Spannweg mit dem Bausatzteil sowieso nicht ausreicht, habe ich ein neues Exzenterteil gebaut. Die Achsen sind aus 19mm und 14mm Edelstahl entstanden, der Block ist aus 30mm Aluminium gefräst. Nach der Montage sieht nun alles stimmig aus und die Kette kann sauber gespannt werden.
During the last test run, I noticed that the tensioning wheel at the end of the drive looks inconsistent. Upon comparison with pictures and drawings, it became evident that the distance from the tank bore to the wheel axis is significantly small; at maximum tension, the track almost scrapes against the hull. Since the tensioning range provided by the kit part is inadequate, I fabricated a new eccentric part. The axles are made of 19mm and 14mm stainless steel, and the block is milled from 30mm aluminum. Following assembly, everything now appears consistent, and the chain can be tensioned properly.
